- 1 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1 c. milk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 lb. pork sausage
- 1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn
- 1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 or 3 jalapeno peppers, chopped
Directions

1Cook pork sausage until no pink shows.

2Combine cornmeal, milk, eggs and corn.

3Blend well and set aside.

4Crumble sausage.

5Add shredded cheese, chopped onion and jalapeno peppers.

6Mix well, then add to cornmeal mixture. Pour into a well-oiled 9-inch cast-iron skillet that has been heated.

7Bake in a 350° oven for 50 minutes.
