  • 1 c. self-rising meal
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 c. Wesson oil or 1 stick butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 to 2 pods green pepper, cut into pieces
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 small can creamed or kernel corn
  • 1 c. cheese, grated

Directions

    Mix ingredients (except cheese).

    Pour half of mixture into hot greased skillet.

    Grate 1 cup cheese over this and add rest of mixture.

    Cook at 350° until lightly browned.
