- 1 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. cream-style corn
- 2/3 c. cooking oil
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 2 or 3 hot peppers, chopped
- 1/2 large bell pepper, chopped
- 1 c. grated sharp cheese
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°.

2Mix all ingredients except cheese. Pour half the batter into a greased and floured pan (9 x 13-inches).

3Sprinkle the cheese over the top and add remaining batter.

4Bake at 375° for about 45 minutes or until golden brown.
