- 2 cans green chili peppers
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- vegetable oil
- picante sauce
Directions

1Cook ground beef, onion and garlic in skillet; drain well.

2Add chilies, cheese and seasonings; stir well.

3Place 2 tablespoons of beef mixture on wrapper.

4Fold jelly roll fashion; brush edge of wrapper lightly with water.

5Press edges together and seal.

6Heat vegetable oil to 375° into large saucepan.

7Place 2 or 3 egg rolls in pan; fry 30 seconds on each side or until golden brown.

8Drain on paper towels.

9Serve with picante sauce.
