Mexican Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. salsa or picante
  • 1 lb. uncooked hamburger
  • 1 can refried beans
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 3/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 12 lasagne noodles
  • 2 1/2 c. water
  • 2 c. sour cream
  • 3/4 c. green onions
  • 1 can sliced black olives
  • 1 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese

    Mix hamburger (uncooked), spices and refried beans.

    Put 4 uncooked noodles in 13 x 9-inch pan and spread 1/2 meat/bean mixture over top.

    Repeat.

    Put remaining 4 noodles on top. Combine water and salsa and put over top.

    Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.

    Mix onions, sour cream and olives. When lasagne is done, spoon mixture over top.

    Top with 1 cup shredded Jack cheese and bake uncovered for 5 more minutes.
