  • 2 pounds Ground Beef
  • 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Refried Beans
  • 1 can (4 Oz. Size) Chopped Green Chiles
  • 1 envelope (about 1 Oz. Packet) Taco Seasoning
  • 2 Tablespoons Hot Sauce
  • 12 ounces, weight Uncooked Lasagna Noodles
  • 4 cups Shredded Co-jack Or Monterey Jack Cheese, Divided
  • 1 jar (16 Oz. Size) Mild Salsa
  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 cups Sour Cream (optional)
  • 1 can (2 1/4 Oz. Size) Sliced Ripe Olives, Drained (optional)
  • 3 Green Onions, Chopped (optional)

    In a skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.

    Add the beans, chiles, taco seasoning, and hot sauce; mix well.

    In a greased 13 x 9 x 2 baking dish, layer a third of the noodles and meat mixture.

    Sprinkle with 1 cup of cheese.

    Repeat layers twice.

    Combine mild salsa and water; pour over top.

    Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour or until heated through.
