  • 1 12 cups dark chocolate chips
  • 23 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 125 g butter, softened
  • 34 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 14 cups bananas, mashed
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 12 cups flour
  • 34 teaspoon baking soda
  • 34 teaspoon baking powder
  • 12 teaspoon salt

    Heat oven to 160C (fan forced) Grease a 20cm square baking pan.

    In a small bowl, combine chocolate chips, cinnamon and brown sugar; set aside.

    Beat butter, sugar, and egg with an electric mixer until fluffy.

    Add bananas, yogurt, and milk, and mix well.

    Using a slotted spoon mix in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt just until blended.

    Spread slightly more than half of the batter in the pan.

    Sprinkle with half of the cinnamon/chocolate mix.

    Carefully spread the remaining batter over this and then top with the rest of the cinnamon/chocolate mix.

    Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean, about 40 to 50 minutes.

    Cool in pan on a wire rack.
