- 1/2 oz. unsweetened grated chocolate
- 3 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Combine chocolate, brown sugar and evaporated milk.

2Bring to a boil.

3Add butter and stir occasionally until candy reaches soft ball stage (238°).

4Remove from heat.

5Add vanilla and nuts, mixing until candy begins to harden.

6Turn into a buttered 9-inch square pan.

7Cut into 2 dozen squares.
