- 1 c. corn meal
- 1 c. milk
- 1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn
- 1/2 c. bacon drippings
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 small can green chopped chiles
Directions

1Mix corn meal, milk, cream-style corn and bacon drippings; set aside.

2Brown the ground beef and drain.

3Place 1/2 meal mixture in a cast-iron skillet.

4Next place meat, chopped onion, cheese and green chiles.

5Top with rest of corn meal mixture.

6Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.

7Slice like pie when serving.

8Top with sour cream, guacamole, hot sauce and black olives (things you like on Mexican food).
