- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 10 eggs
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- pepper to taste
- 1 (8 oz.) can chopped chilies (not hot)
- 1 pt. small curd cottage cheese
- 1 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, coarsely grated
Directions

1Beat eggs lightly in a large bowl.

2Add flour, baking powder, salt and pepper; blend.

3Add cooled, melted butter, chilies and cheese and mix just to blended.

4Turn into a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan (at this point, you may refrigerate until ready to bake). Bake at 400° for 15 minutes, then at 350° for 40 minutes.

5Check with knife for doneness.

6When removed from oven, let stand for a few minutes.

7Cut into squares for serving. Serve warm.
