- 2 c. uncooked rice
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cubes chicken bouillon
- salt
- pepper
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- green pepper strips
- 6 c. water
Directions

1The rice should be washed until the water is clear.

2Let it drain.

3Heat oil and cook the rice for about 15 minutes.

4Add onion with salt and pepper.

5Cook 2 to 3 minutes.

6Next, add tomato sauce.

7Cook 1 to 2 minutes, then add water and chicken bouillon.

8Dissolve the chicken bouillon completely.

9Cook until water is absorbed, then add green peppers to top of rice and cover it with aluminum.

10Cook for 5 to 10 more minutes, until rice is tender.
