Mexican Rice

  • 1 1/3 c. water
  • 1 1/3 c. Minute rice
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 small can chopped mushrooms
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • dash of garlic salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sour cream (optional)
  • hot sauce
  • black pepper

Directions

    Heat water to boiling.

    Add rice; set aside.

    Put 3 tablespoons butter in frying pan.

    Add the chopped onion and chopped mushrooms.

    Cook for a few minutes.

    Add the soy sauce, several dashes of hot sauce, dash of garlic salt and black pepper. Pour rice into frypan.

    Cook for a few minutes.

    Add the sour cream (optional).
