- 2 c. uncooked rice
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. water
- 1/2 diced carrots
- 1 can whole tomatoes
- 1 cube chicken bouillon
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. peas
Directions

1Brown rice in oil until a nutty brown.

2Add onion; saute until clear.

3Add tomatoes (tomatoes should be chopped up to desired bite size), water, bouillon cube, garlic salt, carrots and peas.

4Bring to a boil.

5Reduce heat to simmer.

6Cook until rice is tender and water is cooked out.

7If necessary, add more water and let simmer dry again to get rice tender.

8Once you bring rice to boil, never, never stir any more!!

9If you do, you will have sticky rice.
