- 2 lb. roast beef
- 1 sliced onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. flour
- 4 ripe tomatoes, cubed
- 2 Tbsp. hot chili sauce
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Pour flour onto roast and season.

2Brown quickly on both sides in 3 tablespoons of very hot fat.

3Add tomatoes, onion, chili sauce and 3 cups of hot water.

4Cover and bake in a moderate oven until tender, about 1 1/2 hours.
