- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 medium can whole tomatoes in tomato paste
- 1 c. white wine
- salt and pepper to taste
- 3 lb. shrimp, peeled and cleaned
Directions

1Heat 2 tablespoons oil in large saucepan. Saute onions and pepper until soft.

2Add garlic.

3Add tomatoes and wine and season with cumin, oregano, salt and pepper.

4Bring to a boil and reduce heat.

5Add shrimp and simmer about 20 minutes, until shrimp are pink.
