- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. ground pork sausage
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper (black)
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 2 Tbsp. ground cayenne pepper
- 2 c. tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. spaghetti, cooked
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Brown meats, onions and green pepper in a heavy skillet. Drain off excess fat.

2Add remaining ingredients, except cheese. Simmer for 10 minutes. Pour into a 2-quart buttered casserole or baking dish.

3Bake for 20 minutes at 400°.

4Top with grated cheese.

5Return to oven.

6Bake for 10 minutes.

7Serve hot with tossed green salad and Mexican corn bread or tortilla chips.
