Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 c. cornmeal
  • 1 small onion
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 can hominy
  • 1 can Niblets corn
  • 2 cans tomatoes or 1 can tomatoes plus 1 can tomato juice (16 oz. size)
  • 1/2 pkg. chili seasoning
  • about 1/4 c. oil

Directions

    Mix ground beef, meal, onion, salt and pepper.

    Shape into small balls about the size of a quarter.

    Brown in oil.

    Drain off fat.

    Add chili mix and stir.

    Add rest of ingredients.

    Heat to boiling.

    Turn down and simmer for 1 hour.
