Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. stewing beef
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 4 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp. wine vinegar
  • 15 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 16 oz. jar green chili salsa

Directions

    Combine all ingredients and cook for 3 hours or until the meat falls apart.

    Serve over noodles or rice.

    (Sometimes I add 1 small can of sliced mushrooms.)
