  • Kosher salt, for rimming the glasses
  • 1 lime, quartered
  • 1/2 cup Tomato Juice (above)
  • Hot sauce
  • 1 Mexican beer, such as Bohemia, cold

Directions

    Pour enough salt on a small plate to cover it.

    Rub the rims of two glasses with lime wedges and then dip each glass in the salt to coat the rims.

    To each glass add 1/4 cup tomato juice, a dash of hot sauce, and a few ice cubes.

    Squeeze a lime wedge into each glass and discard.

    Slowly pour in the beer, dividing it between the two glasses, and garnish with the remaining lime wedges.
