Microwave Basic White Sauce

- 1 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- dash of nutmeg
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- dash of white pepper (I use garlic pepper)
Directions

1Heat milk in glass measure on 70 (roast) 2 minutes.

2Set aside, melt butter on High for 45 seconds.

3Stir in flour and seasonings.

4Cook on High 1 minute.

5Briskly stir in warm milk. Cook on High 3 to 4 minutes or until boiling, stirring once during cooking.

6Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

7Serve on cooked vegetables or as a base for other sauces.
