- 4 qt. popped corn
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/4 c. white corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Place popped corn in large brown grocery bag; set aside. Combine remaining ingredients, except baking soda, in 1 1/2-quart glass dish.

2Microwave on High until mixture boils; stir. Microwave for 2 minutes on High, stirring after each minute. Remove from microwave; stir in soda.

3Pour over corn in bag. Close bag; shake well.

4Microwave in bag for 1 1/2 minutes on High; shake well.

5Cook another 1 1/2 minutes.

6Pour onto countertop or table to cool.

7Store in airtight container.

8Makes 4 quarts.
