- 3 qt. popped corn
- 1 1/2 c. peanuts (optional)
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1/4 c. white corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Put popped corn in large brown grocery bag.

2Combine sugar, butter, syrup and salt in 2-quart microwave bowl.

3Microwave on High 3 to 4 minutes, stirring after each minute.

4Bring to boil. Microwave 2 minutes.

5Stir in baking soda.

6Pour mixture over popped corn and peanuts in bag.

7Close bag and shake well. Microwave on High for 1 1/2 minutes.

8Shake bag and microwave 1 1/2 minutes.

9Pour into large roaster and let cool.

10Separate. Store in tightly covered container.
