- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 (16 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can kidney beans, undrained
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
Directions

1Crumble ground beef in 2-quart glass casserole.

2Stir in onion and green pepper.

3Cover with glass lid.

4Microwave about 5 to 6 minutes on High or until meat is browned.

5Drain and stir in remaining ingredients; re-cover.

6Microwave 14 to 18 minutes on Medium-high or until hot.

7Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving.
