   Mix the first 3 ingredients in a bowl.

   Microwave on High 19 minutes.

   Every 5 minutes, stir and turn bowl.

   Beat the egg whites stiff.

   Pour sugar mixture into egg whites and beat until stiff and mixture loses glossy color (about 12 to 15 minutes on high speed).

   Add nuts and vanilla.

   Pour into greased pan.

   Cool and cut into squares.
