Directions

   In a 4-cup glass measure or bowl, mix sugar, water and vinegar.

   Place plastic wrap on top; poke holes in plastic. Microwave 12 to 17 minutes on Medium-high.

   Test after 10 minutes. (A few drops in cold water should form into a soft ball.)

   Set aside.

   Beat until stiff, but not until peaks.

   Fold in nuts and vanilla.

   Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper.
