  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/3 c. chopped onion
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic
  • 1 (4 oz.) pkg. sharp Cheddar
  • 2 (4 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese
  • 9 lasagna noodles

Directions

    Brown ground beef and onion.

    Drain; add tomato sauce, water, Italian seasoning, pepper and garlic.

    Spread one-third meat mixture in bottom of 12 x 8-inch baking dish; arrange 1/3 of the noodles on top.

    Sprinkle 1/3 of the two cheeses.

    Repeat layers once.

    Cover with remaining noodles.

    Top with remaining meat and cheese.

    Put in microwave on High for 5 minutes.

    Rotate dish; microwave for 30 or 35 minutes longer, or until noodles are tender.
