- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. red onion, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp. white vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. green or red bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp. fresh ginger, grated
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/8 tsp. ground turmeric
- 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
- pepper to taste
