- 1/2 c. white corn syrup
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. pecans, chopped
- 1 1/4 tsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1In a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish, stir together corn syrup and sugar.

2Cook on 100 percent power for 4 minutes.

3Stir in nuts. Cook on 100 percent power for 3 minutes.

4Add butter and vanilla to syrup and blend well.

5Cook on 100 percent power for 1 to 2 minutes.

6Add baking soda and stir until light and foamy.

7Pour mixture onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.

8When cool, break into pieces.

9Keep in a tight container.
