Ingredients

  • 1 large cucumber sliced 1/4 inch thick (2 c.)
  • 1 medium onion, sliced thin (3/4 c.)
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c. white vinegar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp. turmeric

Directions

    Mix and put in 2 qt. casserole covered.

    Microwave on high 7 - 8 minutes stirring twice until cucumbers are crisp and tender and onion is translucent.

    Ladle into glass jar (rinsed with hot water).
