  • 1 cup salt
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp. powdered alum
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tbsp. oil

Directions

    In a 2 quart glass dish, combine dry ingredients.

    Add water and oil until well mixed.

    Microwave high 3-4 minutes, stirring every minute until thick and lumpy.

    Cool on flat plate.
  5. 5
    Knead on floured surface until smooth.
  6. 6
    Store in covered jar in refrigerator 1-2 weeks.
