- 2 c. fresh tomatoes, chopped (meat only, no seeds)
- 1/2 c. onion
- 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
- 3 Tbsp. chili peppers, chopped
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 clove garlic, mashed
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. chili powder
Directions

1Cook to boiling; add 2 tablespoons cornstarch with 1/4 cup cold water.

2Cook, stirring, until clear and a bit thickened.

3I do this recipe 4 times to make a batch to can, usually 5 pints. Put in hot sterilized jars and seal.
