- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 3 c. milk
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Heat sugar and syrup in 1 cup milk, stirring until dissolved. Cook, stirring frequently, to 246° to 248°, or until firm ball stage.

2Slowly add second cup of milk and repeat the cooking process.

3Add the final cup of milk, the butter and salt.

4Cook to 246° to 248°, or until a firm ball stage in cold water.

5Remove from heat.

6Add vanilla and pour at once into buttered pan.

7Cut into squares when cool.
