  • 3 sticks oleo
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs (1 at a time)
  • 2 1/2 c. sifted flour
  • 1/2 c. nuts
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Melt together 8 Milky Way bars and 1 stick of oleo; set aside. Cream 1 stick of oleo and sugar; then add 4 eggs, one at a time. Then sift flour alternately with buttermilk with 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1/2 cup chopped nuts and add 2 teaspoons vanilla. Then fold all of these ingredients with the Milky Way mixture. Bake at 300° for 1 hour.
