- 3/4 c. butter, melted
- 1 3/4 c. light brown sugar
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Directions

1Set oven at 350°.

2Grease 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

3Combine butter and brown sugar and beat until thoroughly mixed.

4Add eggs, one at a time.

5Sift together flour, baking powder and salt and add them to the batter with the mixer set on its lowest speed, mixing until dry ingredients are blended thoroughly.

6Stir in chocolate bits and walnuts.

7Spread batter in prepared pan.

8Bake 20 to 25 minutes until set and lightly browned.

9Cool completely and cut into 24 bars.

10Store in airtight container.
