- 2 gal. cooked meat (pork or beef), ground up
- 1 gal. apples, ground
- 2 boxes raisins
- 2 lb. sugar or 4 c.
- 1 box mixed spices or cinnamon or more
- 1 qt. (or less) mild vinegar
- salt to taste
Directions

1Mix ingredients and cook slow in large dish pan or slow cooker until raisins are puffed and seem dry.

2Stir often to keep from sticking.

3Can hot in hot, dry jars.

4Seal at once.

5Makes 6 quarts.
