Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lb. beef stew meat
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 beef bouillon
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Italian salad dressing
  • 1 (16 oz.) stewed tomatoes and juice
  • 1 (15 oz.) kidney beans and juice
  • 1 can pitted black olives, drained
  • 1 can sliced or diced carrots
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 3 cans beef broth
  • 2 cans water (use broth cans)
  • 1 can zucchini squash
  • 1 1/2 c. shell macaroni

Directions

    Brown meat in olive oil with spices.

    Add broth, water, bouillon and Italian dressing.

    Cover and cook 1 hour.

    Add remaining ingredients except macaroni.

    Add it the last 30 minutes of cooking.

    Serve with hot French bread slices.
