- 4 tablespoons margarine or 4 tablespoons butter
- 34 cup chopped onion
- 12 cup chopped celery
- 12 chopped carrot
- 12 cup shredded cabbage
- 2 (14 ounce) cans chicken broth
- 2 (14 ounce) cans tomatoes, cut up
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 14 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon snipped basil or 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 (15 ounce) can white kidney beans (cannellini) or 1 (15 ounce) can great northern beans, rinsed and drained
- 4 12 ounces frozen Italian cut green beans
- 1 medium zucchini, sliced 1/4 thick (1cup)
- 12 cup broken spaghetti or 12 cup elbow macaroni
- salt
- 12 cup grated parmesan cheese
Directions

1Melt butter or margarine in a heavy pot over medium heat; Add onions,celery and carrots, saute for a few minutes.

2Add chicken broth,tomatoes,tomato paste, cabbage, basil and garlic powder.

3Bring to boil,reduce heat and simmer, covered, about 20 minutes; Stir in beans, green beans, zucchini and pasta.

4Reduce heat and simmer 10 to 15 minutes or until vegetables and pasta are tender.

5Top each sreving with parmesan cheese,Enjoy.
