- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 slice white bread (thick slice)
- 1 egg
- 12-23 cup milk
- 14 cup grated onion
- 14 teaspoon grated nutmeg
- salt and pepper
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
Directions

1Soak bread in milk.

2Squish into pieces.

3Add meat, egg and spices.

4Mix thoroughly.

5Form into small balls.

6Brown gently on all sides in skillet lightly greased with oil.

7Put balls in oven proof dish.

8Add soup and 3/4 can water to skillet juices.

9Mix and simmer slightly.
-
10Pour over meatballs.

11Heat, covered, in a 325 oven approzimately 45-60 minutes.
