- 4 egg whites
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 2 c. (12 oz. pkg.) semi-sweet chocolate mini morsels
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Beat egg whites, salt and cream of tartar in small mixer bowl until soft peaks form.

2Gradually add sugar; beat until stiff peaks form.

3Gently fold in morsels, 1/3 at a time.

4Drop by level tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets.

5Bake in preheated 300° oven for 20 to 25 minutes until meringues are dry and crisp; cool for 2 minutes.

6Remove from baking sheets; cool completely on wire racks.

7Store in airtight containers.

8Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
