- 12 slices cocktail rye bread
- 2 Tbsp. soft butter
- 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1/4 lb. corned beef, thinly sliced
- 1/2 c. sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
- 6 slices Swiss cheese, cut in half
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2Spread each slice of bread with 1/2 teaspoon each of butter and mustard.

3Place two slices of corned beef on each slice.

4Add a heaping teaspoonful of sauerkraut.

5Top with a piece of cheese.

6Place on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.

7Cut, if desired, in half and serve hot.
