  • 1 apple cored and chopped
  • 8 mint leaves and stems
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 ounce white rum
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons dijon mustard

Directions

    Combine all ingredients in blender.

    Blend until smooth

    Taste and alter amounts/seasoning until you're starting with the mint flavor and ending with the apple with a little spice left over.

    Use as glaze for salmon, pork, etc.

    Pour the rest of the rum in a glass with your favorite mixer and enjoy further!
