- 2 egg whites
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. chocolate mint chips
- 1/2 scant tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- red or green food coloring
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375° for 15 minutes.

2Beat egg whites until frothy and add sugar. Add a dash of salt and cream of tartar. Beat until stiff.

3Add vanilla.

4Tint with food coloring and fold in chips.

5Drop by teaspoon as close together as possible onto greased sheets.

6Place in oven and turn off immediately.

7Do not open door for at least 5 hours.

8May be left in overnight.
