Ingredients
- 2 medium onions
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 3/4 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. dried mint, crushed
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2Line bottom of an 8-inch square baking pan with foil.

3Cut onions in half crosswise.

4Remove skins. Place, cut side down, in pan.

5Whisk remaining ingredients in small bowl until blended. Drizzle over onions. Swirl onions so they are coated.

6Bake, uncovered, 1 hour or until tender and golden brown. Baste onions with pan drippings 3 times during baking.

7Makes 4 servings.
