- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup fresh mint leaves, packed
Directions

1In small saucepan, combine sugar and water.

2Over medium-low heat, bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.

3While syrup is heating, rinse mint leaves under water to eliminate dirt.

4Once sugar has dissolved, remove from heat and add mint leaves, making sure they are submerged.

5Cool 1 hour.

6Strain.

7Store in an airtight container and refrigerate; will keep for 3-4 weeks.
