  • 11/2 lbs ground pork
  • 1/2 C finely chopped onions or thinly sliced green onions
  • 6 tbsp white miso
  • 6 tbsp granulated sugar
  • Steamed short grain white rice
  • Strips of nori for garnish

Directions

    Cook the onions over medium-high heat until they begin to caramelize

    Add the pork and cook, stirring occasionally, until it begins to brown

    Add the sugar and miso and mix well
  4. 4
    Continue to cook until the pork is well cooked and the sauce mixture has become dark and well caramelized

    Serve over steamed rice and garnish with strips of nori
