- 1/2 C finely chopped onions or thinly sliced green onions
- 6 tbsp white miso
- 6 tbsp granulated sugar
- Steamed short grain white rice
- Strips of nori for garnish
Directions

1Cook the onions over medium-high heat until they begin to caramelize

2Add the pork and cook, stirring occasionally, until it begins to brown

3Add the sugar and miso and mix well

4Continue to cook until the pork is well cooked and the sauce mixture has become dark and well caramelized

5Serve over steamed rice and garnish with strips of nori
