- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 c. cocoa powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 (9 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
- 1/4 c. coconut (if desired)
Directions

1Cream the butter and sugar in a large bowl; beat in eggs one at a time.

2Sift cocoa powder, salt and flour, then add to egg mixture.

3Stir in vanilla, coconut and pecans.

4Pour batter into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

5Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.

6Take out and spread marshmallow cream over cake.

7Let cool for 1 1/2 hours.
