- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 vanilla bean split lengthwise
- 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
- 2 cups fruit Assorted fresh
Directions

1Combine sugar and water in heavy small saucepan.

2Scrape seeds from vanilla bean into pan; add bean.

3Stir over low heat until sugar dissolves.

4Increase heat to high; boil 1 minute.

5Cool syrup.

6Transfer to bowl.

7Discard vanilla bean.

8Mix juice into syrup.

9Cover; chill until cold, at least 1 hour or overnight.

10Mix in fruit.
