- 2 ham hocks or smoked turkey wings
- 2 qt. water
- 5 lb. mustard greens
- 5 lb. turnip greens
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Boil meat in 2 quarts water for 1 hour.

2In meantime, prepare greens, removing stems and damaged leaves.

3Wash 3 or 4 times until rinse water is clear.

4Mustard and turnip green leaves are small and do not require cutting before cooking.

5Add whole leaves and seasoning to boiling water.

6Cover and cook rapidly for about 25 minutes or until tender.

7When done, cut greens with knife while still in pot.

8Serve with hot pepper slices and vinegar.
