  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1 1/2 c. or more peanuts or mixed nuts
  • 4 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Directions

  1. 1
    Boil sugar, water and Karo syrup to 280° on a candy thermometer.
  2. 2
    Add other ingredients and boil to 300°.
