  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Hawaiian salt
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. boiling water

Directions

    Cut the vegetables such as green peppers, round onions, carrots, celery, cauliflower, daikon (turnips) and cucumbers lengthwise.

    Pour the boiling water into a mixture of vinegar, sugar and salt.

    Cool and pour over vegetables in a jar.
